Utilizing the nursing process, the Home Health Registered Nurse will manage and deliver comprehensive home health services to clients with various medical/surgical diagnoses within their place of residence. Responsible for providing nursing care to patients and education to families in their homes; coordinates activities with other community and Agency staff and carries out special activities on assignment. Provide quality care to patients and their families. Assess, plan, and evaluate care for a complex patient population. Respond to a full range of health and illnesses. Adhere to the Board of Registration in Nursing rules and regulations.

17 bed Med Surg/Tele Unit
This unit cares primarily for acute care patients who have a wide variety of diagnosis and co-morbidities. Most common surgical patients are orthopedic including total joint replacements and neurosurgical as well as GI/GU/GYN surgeries. These patients can require telemetry monitoring.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred.
- Candidates without bachelor’s degree in nursing will be considered but must be enrolled in Baccalaureate program within 1 year of hire.
- Valid Massachusetts RN license.
- CPR, IV and ACLS certification.
