Job Description

Duties : Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of building equipment. Assists in moving equipment and furniture.

Works well independently and with a team. Maintains driver's license and good driving record. Operates skid steer, forklift, boom lift, and snow plows.

Clears snow and ice. Other duties as assigned.Education and Experience : High School graduate preferred. Understands basic maintenance of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

This position normally requires the equivalent of 3-10 years of maintenance experience in healthcare maintenance. Skills : Strong organizational skills, good follow through, and self-motivated.

Able to perform routine maintenance on a variety of building systems. Able to work safely, to read technical manuals and drawings.

Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to adapt to stressful situations. Physical Requirements : Physical Requirements : Must be able to work in harsh conditions (heat and cold).

Reaching, bending, climbing are routine. Some heavy lifting. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
