What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Front Desk Associate (17-22 hours) position at Mend Acupuncture?
Mend Acupuncture is seeking a Front Desk Administrative Assistant for our dynamic acupuncture clinic located in Pikesville, MD’s Quarry Lake development. Mend’s mission is to expand access to acupuncture, and we are looking for dependable, friendly, diligent people to join our team to help us accomplish that mission.
The position is primarily responsible for managing patient experience, which includes scheduling appointments, processing payments, answering phone calls and emails, responding to patient questions and requests for information, and managing patient flow. Other duties may include confirming appointments, working with insurance policies, as well as a variety of administrative and special tasks that support clinic operations.
Ideal candidates for the position will possess:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Patience, sincerity, and compassion
Experience in forward-facing customer service preferred
Ability to multitask and function happily in a busy, changeable environment
Skilled with office technologies (i.e., Gmail and Google Suite in a Mac environment, phone, voicemail)
A demonstrated track record of organization, dependability, and attention to detail
An interest in and enthusiasm for health and wellness
Transportation to hiring clinic; some travel to Mend’s other clinics may be required
COVID19 vaccination series required
We are hiring for a part-time position at 17-22 hours per week, or a minimum of three shifts per week. Pay rate is $14.50/hr, with incremental training opportunities for pay increases (up to $17.00).
Weekend and evening availability is a must.
