What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fuel Accountant - $24.00/hour position at Menzies?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Comply with the Location’s attendance/tardiness standards.
Organize and review fuel slips and fuel tickets for accuracy.
Track all fuel slips and fuel tickets vs. daily flight activity.
Organize inventory stock and distribute supplies, file maintenance and other clerical duties as assigned.
Input data to inventory tracking systems.
Filing – as needed.
Provide clerical and administrative support to station management.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words, and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense, understanding to carry our detailed but involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Possess professional etiquette
Good organizational skills
Basic computer skills
