Merakey Greensburg is currently seeking a full-time, benefits-eligible Behavior Specialist servicing Westmoreland, Indiana and Armstrong Counties.
Job description:
- Develop and monitor individual behavioral support interventions
- Participate in team meetings and additional consultation as needed
- Provide on-going training to the program staff to ensure the needs of the population are being served
- Work collaboratively with the program's psychiatric nurse, pharmacist, and psychiatrist to coordinate medication monitoring and adjustment
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:- Knowledge and understanding of recovery principles and recovery driven service system
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of best practice standards for treatment of dually diagnosed individuals
- Have knowledge and, preferably be certified, in one of the established behavior modification techniques, such as Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) or Functional Behavioral Analysis (FBA)
- Have prior experience providing clinical supervision to non-clinical staff (i.e. service coordinators, case managers, direct support professionals)
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass appropriate state and federal clearances
