Injection Mold Operator/Packer – 3rd shift/night shift

We are looking for an operator on our injection mold line for our overnight shift (S-Th, 10:30 pm - 7:00 am). The operator is responsible for monitoring the line, inspecting parts, and packing product.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual inspection to ensure all products meet quality standards
  • Package finished products in boxes
  • Monitor flow of product into and out of machinery
  • Verify compliance with quality, safety, production standards, work rules, and efficient operation of equipment
  • Report potential production downtime, scrap production, and quality of each machine to shift lead
  • Regular attendance is a basic component of the job. All employees are required to report to their shift on time as scheduled
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery
  • Document actions by using company software to track production and inventory
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Attention to detail
  • Reliability
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines in a manufacturing setting preferred
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

Work Environment:

Manufacturing environment requiring appropriate eye and foot protection.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
