You are responsible for:
- Manage/Track all raw materials, production schedule, WIP and finished goods inventories.
- Create and maintain Load/Build Schedule/Plan all area (receiving, incoming inspection, stockroom, production) to support customer demand
- Attend Daily Production Meeting
- Review MRP requirement and available reports to determine material supply needs.
- Monitoring and report to manager weekly metrics including, on time delivery, MRP trend tracking, process improvement plan and high/lowlight
- Attend MRB review meeting as requires
- Meet deadlines to avoid material shortages and delays on assigned task from management
- Partnering with internal warehouse, Quality, Engineer and production to communication of changes in material demand, facilitate effective material/WIP movement, and maintain appropriate level load plan
- Professional relationship with all MRCY employees and customer
- Responsible for the day-to-day tactical management of the customer delivery (consisting of all BU partners for NPI and sustaining production of telecommunications schedule)
- Communication of priorities to all respective departments to ensure all internal/external goals and objectives are met
- Minimize risk of exposure to excess /overstock finish goods
- Assist Engineering in the development of new material/manufacturing sources
- You will analyze technical data and reports to determine spare and support equipment provisioning requirements.
- You will Review site survey results and letters of offer and acceptance and formulate specific recommendations for spare/repair parts and support equipment.
- Manages and controls the asset position of customer inventories, originate support plans for offer to potential customers and provide technical assistance to existing customer personnel.
- You will forecast and manage budget system.
- You will function as a subject matter expert to support technical data certification/verification activities.
- You will perform research, analysis, and interface with engineering teams to expand relevant systems knowledge, review technical data readiness for certification events, and assist with capturing user comments/changes for incorporation.
- You are expected to augment the technical writing team as needed.
- You may also be required to attend daily/weekly meetings to determine technical data certification schedules versus testing/maintenance schedules.
- You must have the ability to collaborate in a team environment and/or work alone with minimal supervision.
- Manage work order reschedules and communicates changes to the affective area (Supports both expedites and push-outs or cancellations to optimize production loading levels)
- Ability to lead projects or teams to improve planning processes
- Reconciles and resolves open job/work order discrepancies with warehouse and production prior to accounting roll cost
- Assists other departments within the organization as required to ensure the same goals and objectives are met when they goal lead to the overall objective
- Strong MS Office or Oracle experience preferred
- Associates Degree, Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent, minimum High School Diploma or GED
- 10 years of experience in electronics, aerospace, or defense manufacturing planning
