Location: Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas
Shift: Full Time Evenings
Overview:
Our Supply Chain team is at the heart of our mission of Mercy. With our Supply Chain Career Ladder coworkers can grow and develop into a career they love serving our communities. Supply Chain Technicians may support multiple supply areas in the hospital as assigned, this can include Central Supply, Linens, Operating Room, and other Specialty areas as deemed by management. Technicians also assists with the management of inventories and pars to ensure adequate levels. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, Mercy Service Standards, and Accounting of Stewardship.
Qualifications:
Supply Chain Associate:
- Candidates must be able to read and understand basic instructions.
- While we would prefer someone with a high school diploma or GED equivalent, we would be delighted to provide on the job training to help you succeed here at Mercy
- Supply Chain Associates are expected to interact with our patients, visitors, and coworkers in a warm and friendly manner while performing their duties
- Previous experience in healthcare or supply distribution field is helpful
Supply Chain Technician:
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience: No Experience Required, at least 1-year previous Supply Distribution experience is preferred
Advanced Supply Technician:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of Mercy Preceptor Course within 6 months of hire
- Experience: Mastered Supply Chain Technician Competencies and fully functional in Supply Chain Technician role, or 2 years direct healthcare supply chain or 2 years large-scale supply chain experience.
- Certification: Preferred Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP), Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM), or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
