Overview
The candidate can either be located at our Rockford or Janesville offices.
The Workday HCM Consultant will act as a resource for Mercyhealth HR throughout the Workday implementation project and manage optimization post go live for the system. The Workday HCM Consultant is an expert in Workday and is responsible for assessing, designing, developing and integrating HCM software to create best practices. This role is designed to simply the needs, testing, and troubleshooting implemented software for the HR teams.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with partners and people throughout the organization to understand business requirements for existing reports and processes.
- Serve as a Workday subject matter expert on all HCM related modules.
- Troubleshoot performance, security and data quality issues during the integration process.
- Identify areas of opportunity to consolidate and streamline processes.
- Support the transition of reporting in legacy systems into Workday and to data warehouse.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through proactive communication and effective prioritization.
- Collaborate across boundaries to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers.
- Perform the following on an engagement: understand business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate the configurations throughout the development and assist in testing.
- Work with the department to help convert legacy data into Workday.
- Assist in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and third party/custom solutions.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree Required Business, Human Resources, or other disciplines required.
- 2 years of experience working in Workday required.
- Subject matter expert and know all features of the Workday HCM platform.
- Experience in advanced, matrix and composite reports and calculated fields required.
- Design, develop and test solutions.
- Technical knowledge and experience in HR, Finance, and Supply Chain modules of Workday required.
- Provide technical, hands-on support and resolve system issues.
- Functional experience with HCM software solutions and systems.
- Experience implementing or working with Workday or similar applications.
- At least one complete end-to-end Workday HR, Finance, and Supply Chain implementation preferred.
- Healthcare experience is preferred.
Certification/Licensure
- Workday HCM Certification required
- Workday Integration Certification preferred
