Physician Assistant Orthopedic Surgery

Overview

Mercyhealth, an award-winning fully integrated health care delivery organization based in Wisconsin and Illinois, is seeking a Board-Certified Physician Assistant to join our well-established, busy Orthopedic Surgery team in Janesville, WI.

Opportunity:  

• PA will support orthopedic surgery cases and work with 2-3 Orthopedic Surgeons
• Monday through Friday flexible schedule based on caseload
• Call rotation to be determined; approximately 10 days / month
• Will assist in the OR and round on inpatients
• Enjoy a level of independence and collaboration within the support of a fast-growing health system
• System-wide Epic electronic health record

Qualifications:

• Accredited schooling through a Physician Assistant Degree ProgramCurrent Certified status through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Obtain CME experience as required for re-certification by NCCPA
• Hold valid state license and CME credits for license renewal
• Current DEA number
• Other certifications as required
• Experienced orthopedic PA preferred (3-5 years)
