As our Digital Project Manager, you will…

Be Accountable and Responsible

The Digital Project Manager will manage and deliver our web development projects within quality standards as well as time and budget requirements. Ultimately, this role proves to be essential to the success of any digital project.

  • Responsible for managing project plans for multiple development projects simultaneously, including; managing to scope, delivery dates, team resourcing, and tasking across the website and digital projects' full life cycle
  • Manage communication of technical guidelines to the internal team and the client to ensure functional and best practices of digital programs from initial IA through design and execution
  • Update internal client teams to manage client communications, reviews, and feedback
  • Partner with the resource management team to coordinate team resources and task assignments based on deliverables and project plan
  • Manage approved staff plans based on the scope
  • Present project parameters and checkpoints to set client expectations for assigned projects and programs ensuring timely delivery of quality deliverables
  • Deliver detailed progress reports and forecasts on assigned digital projects to the internal team and Client Service as requested
  • Ongoing analysis of project hours to forecast project burn and identify potential areas of risk to project timeline and/or budget; alert internal leadership teams to any issues before they arise, including mitigation recommendations
  • Assist with contingency planning, and problem resolution, and recommend solutions to maintain schedules, budgets, and quality deliverables
  • Tracking changes in scope, actual hours against a project plan, and making appropriate changes to deliver projects and programs on time and within budget
  • Keep leadership aware of progress – raising concerns as quickly as possible
  • Work with the quality assurance team for website and digital programs testing
  • Manage website compliance
  • Ability to facilitate and manage personalities
  • Ability to collaborate and build trust across teams and manage conflict
  • Confronts issues openly and quickly
  • Effectively communicates relevant project/practice information to superiors and peers across all departments
  • Shows ownership of the agency process and enforces the use of the process with the team
  • Helps to determine new, creative ways to employ teams on projects and distribute responsibilities
  • Works across departments to share lessons learned and best practices
  • Continually seeks internal efficiencies to increase client satisfaction and help deepen client relationships
  • Easily recognizes areas for internal improvement and develops plans for Implementation.

These are the qualifications we're looking for

  • At least 4 years of experience working in the development of large-scale websites, microsites, landing pages, and platforms with a strong understanding of development
  • Experience in marketing/tech agencies a plus
  • An understanding of the use of CMS solutions and the web development lifecycle
  • Strong Project Management skills - the ability to monitor and report on project status, budgets, schedules, and resource management
  • Familiarity with Agile and waterfall methodologies preferred
  • Understanding of IA and user experience best practices
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Jira, and Confluence a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
