What’s the job?
The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Controller to produce timely and accurate management information and reports to enhance decision making and improve profitability.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including analysis of variances to budget, forecast, and prior year
- Oversee AR/AP
- Weekly and monthly financial reporting and KPIs
- Product costing within the MRP System
- Assist in the preparation of annual budget and forecasts
- Manage data within the MRP system including a chart of accounts, review new inventory items and BOMs setup, Vendors, Customers, etc.
- Liaise with and prepare data for external Auditors, Advisors, and Consultants
- Provide backup for Salary payroll runs
- Cash management reporting and forecasting
- Ad-hoc analysis and reporting
Who we’re looking for?
- Recently Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance desired
- Experience working in a manufacturing company is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Excellent communication and IT skills
- Enthusiastic and results orientated
