Job Description:
We are looking for a well established outside sales rep with a proven track record, who is looking for a lucrative opportunity in the construction equipment industry. This position is responsible for outbound marketing efforts to drive revenue from after-market parts and service sales, and conduct new machine customer walk arounds. Sales rep is to report to the General Sales and Operations Managers. Great customer service and retention is our number one goal.
Primary Responsibilities:
- After-sales consumer marketing target lists
- Outbound after-sales customer communication
- Develop marketing materials in conjunction with the Marketing Manager
- Develop and execute after-sales marketing campaigns
- Machine delivery appointments and customer training
Additional Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer email/phone inquiries
- Liaison between customers and parts/service teams
- Process parts and equipment from warehouse
- Parts and equipment deliveries
- Escalate customer issues to management as needed
Qualifications:
- Problem solver
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Technically / mechanically inclined
- Compact equipment and aerial experience:
(skid steers, track loaders, mini-ex, telehandlers, scissor & boom lifts)
- Previous experience in construction equipment industry preferred
- Effectively communicate with customers & co-workers in a professional manner
Candidate must be able to perform the following duties as needed:
Warehouse:
- Work in a fast paced, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
- Open and close bay doors, including pulling of manual dock chain
- Lift and carry up to 75 lbs. unassisted
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Move materials within a warehouse using carts, dollies, and hand trucks
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse mechanical equipment
- Package or kit finished product for delivery (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
Field / Jobsite:
- Read, interpret, and follow maps
- Drive for several hours at a time
- Walk around unimproved jobsite terrain
- Be exposed to various climates and temperatures for extended periods of time
- Work around dusty and noisy jobsite environments
- Travel up and down stairs as needed
- Inspect and perform minor equipment maintenance using hand tools
Requirements:
- Over the age of 18
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Maintain a clean driving history
- Willing to undergo a background check and pre-employment drug test
- Be fluent in English and able to communicate clearly with customers
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30-4:30
