Position: Vice President - Retirement Plan Services

Summary:

Meridian Trust & Investment Company, LLC is an employee-owned financial services company in Knoxville, Tennessee. We are looking for an individual to lead our retirement plan administration practice which serves multiple companies across Tennessee. An ideal candidate would have an education in tax, accounting or finance, 5-7 years of work experience, problem solving abilities, leadership and team management, attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Additionally, an ideal candidate would have interest in growing their knowledge of retirement plans and with experience, begin to independently research and review. We do not require candidates to have a current certain level of expertise in retirement plans, but a desire to lead and grow in their career.

Responsibilities:
Over-time we expect the candidate to lead the department in serving our clients, executing accurate and timely work, and being a trusted source of knowledge in the company. To achieve this, the individual must be highly organized with an enthusiastic, customer service-oriented attitude and be motivated to learn about retirement plan administration and the laws and regulations surrounding the industry. Overall responsibilities will include providing accounting, reporting, and other professional services for retirement plan clients as you develop within the company.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

Preferred: Certified Public Accountant or similar certification

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
