What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter position at Meritus Health?
Painter - Full-time
Under the supervision of the Facilities Engineering Supervisor, performs duties associated with the inspection, repair, maintenance and preventative maintenance of facilities architectural finishes of the buildings and grounds structures by applying paints, sealers, varnishes and stains and other coatings to the interior and exterior surfaces, and refurnishes furniture and equipment. Records, plans and prepares daily work assignments, maintains an adequate schedule for PM of facilities, equipment, systems, and procedures in compliance with applicable codes.
Education – High school diploma or equivalent, Trade / Vocational School courses in various skills accepted. A working knowledge of the painting trade is preferred.
Experience – Minimum of three (3) years experience with applicable painting experience.
Licensure/Certification – N/A
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Ability to work from written and verbal instructions with minimum supervision.
