Meriwether Godsey is looking for a District Manager based in the Greater DC Metro Area. In this role, you will serve as a member of the company’s senior leadership team, helping to drive growth, continuous improvement, and the distinctiveness of our brand. Key responsibilities include:
Leading the Organization
Work effectively across the organization to build strategic relationships and gain new perspectives.
Drive customer satisfaction and support teams in establishing, prioritizing, and executing program goals and action plans; and play a hands-on role in onboarding new accounts.
Introduce and implement programs and strategies that fulfill the client’s short and long-term needs; “resell” the company brand and culture.
Through frequent and focused time in assigned accounts, assure compliance with applicable regulations, client/MG practices, policies, and procedures.
Maintain intelligent district financial budgets and forecasts, review and analyze data relative to operations to meet client and company goals; demonstrate good stewardship for both.
Leading Others
Support the development of staff; participate in recruiting, training, and coaching initiatives in step with the industry and MG human resources practices.
Maintain working relationships with direct reports and account teams; supporting both through regular contact and visits to assess performance and adherence to MG Core Values, standards, and best practices.
Develop and manage direct reports with a participative management style; building trusting and effective relationships and fostering a healthy work environment.
Promote a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion.
What you will need:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
7 years in a leadership role in food service management; multi-unit strongly preferred
Strategic Leadership Skills, Participative Management Style
ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification
