Job Description:
The Research Director is a key role at B2B International in helping deliver industry-leading research to some of the world’s largest companies. This role reports to the VP of North America and will play a significant part in leading the work that B2B International conducts for its clients in North America, in winning new business, and in contributing to the latest thinking in b2b marketing. Key responsibilities include:
- Inquiry taking, proposal writing and pitching
- Responsible for directing research programs and for ensuring high quality deliverables throughout (including running kick-off meetings, designing questionnaires, writing strong conclusions and recommendations, and presenting research findings)
- Facilitate workshops and/or focus group moderation (virtual for the foreseeable future)
- Thought leadership e.g., white papers / articles, critical thinking capabilities, transformative thinking / innovation
- Business development e.g., outreach, conferences (most likely virtual for the short to mid-term), etc.
- Strong leadership skills e.g., leading by example, motivational, identifying and developing staff skills, etc.
Qualifications:
- 8 years’ experience, specifically in taking research inquiries, designing research programs and writing proposals
- Extensive questionnaire design experience writing a range of questionnaires (quant and qual) from scratch
- Experience across a range of research studies including segmentation, brand tracking, customer experience, product development, etc.
- Good knowledge of statistics e.g., MaxDiff, conjoint and latent class clustering

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $113,000-$174,500. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The company’s incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
