Bilingual Direct Support Specialist

LOCATION: A convenient 30-minute commute by car to the work site.

on-site TEMPORAL HOUSING (might be available).

Schedules: Four days per week including 1 weekend day for afternoon-night or overnight shift.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Experience working with children and/or adolescents.
  • Ability to converse in English and Spanish
  • Must have a current, valid driver’s license
  • Must be fully COVID-vaccinated

Responsibilities

*Responsible for direct supervision and engagement of youth.
*Provide fair, consistent, and positive reinforcement for acceptable behaviors.
*Responsible for maintaining a consistently supportive and therapeutic environment.
*Participate in the treatment team process.
*Implement daily schedule including program routines.
*Assist assigned residents with specified tasks.
*Employ proper protocols and procedures as required by the agency.
*Remain on duty until properly relieved.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45,900.00 - $46,900.00 per year
