We are looking for the right candidate as a General Manager to oversee the day-to-day results related to operations, customer service, sales, revenue, retention, and facilities management.
The General Manager is responsible for the direction and ultimate success by reinforcing the company purpose and culture in the minds and actions of all employees. To steadily and appropriately escalate our consistently high standards of customer service and member engagement, while growing the business. The General Manager ensures that the Merritt Clubs experience is “The best part of our members day, every day”.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of health club experience in a fitness management role, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar role.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Passionate about Merritt Clubs, the fitness industry, and members' results.
- Flexible schedule, availability on evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Background in Sales and personal production.
- Operational experience managing multi -purpose facilities and staff.
- Training in customer service/ engagement.
