What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Desk Manager position at MESA AIRLINES?
The Hotel Desk Manager will provide a face and central communications hub for all corporate travel, crewmember travel, and accommodation vendor relations at Mesa Airlines. Providing timely and cost-conscious accommodations to our employees engaged in our business is critical to the success of Mesa Airlines. This position will normally work office hours but will require flexible scheduling and some travel at times, as well as the ability to field non-routine calls for service during off-hours.
Essential Functions:
- Facilitate hotel accommodations throughout the United States for all Company employees.
- Create hotel bid letters each month to block our scheduled crew rooms throughout the systems.
- Assist with temporary assignment hotel reservations.
- Work with vendor partners invoicing irregularities associated with the Hotel Desk.
- Prepare and analyze hotel spend and market data for briefing senior leadership.
- Assist with and respond to crew member complaints regarding our contracted accommodation locations.
- Manage relationships with hotel and 3rd party vendors.
- Provide insights on accommodation related questions for strategic business decisions.
- Other duties as assigned
