We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and a proven track record in restaurant management. In this role, you will collaborate with the management team to ensure smooth operations, foster a positive work environment, and contribute to the overall success of Mesita restaurant.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Team Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the work of restaurant staff, ensuring they adhere to established standards and guidelines.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers to ensure a positive dining experience, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Staff Training: Train new employees and provide ongoing training for existing staff to maintain high-quality service.
- Scheduling: Create and manage employee schedules, considering factors like peak business hours and staff availability.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage restaurant inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- Financial Tracking: Keep track of sales, expenses, and profits, and work towards budgetary goals set by upper management.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and training staff accordingly.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during daily operations, from customer complaints to staffing challenges.
- Collaboration with Management: Work closely with the General Manager and other management personnel to achieve overall business objectives.
- Quality Control: Maintain quality standards for food and service, conducting regular checks to uphold the restaurant's reputation.
- Marketing and Promotions: Assist in planning and implementing marketing initiatives or promotional events to attract more customers.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as payroll processing, record-keeping, and reporting to higher management.
- Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts among staff members and ensure a positive and harmonious work environment.
