Job Title: Dining Receiver

HIRING FOR:

• Full Time Days 5:00am - 1:30pm, no weekends

Salary: starting at $17/hour

What do I need as a Dining Receiver with Messiah Lifeways?

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred

What will I do as a Dining Receiver with Messiah Lifeways?

• Keeps storage areas clean and sanitized.
• Receives bulk food and paper products when a shipment arrives.
• Completes final stage of meal preparation in neighborhood kitchen as assigned.
• Properly and safely unloads product in the storage freezer, storage fridge, and dry stock room.
• Check product for damages and ensure these are sent back.
• Ensures that the shipments are inspected, sorted, and stored in the appropriate stock room.
• Reconciles invoices to make sure orders are correct.
• Monitor shelves to restock as needed and place orders for both inventory and shipping supplies when they are low.
• Appropriately labels open food items, and dispose of expired food items in a timely manner.
• Labels bulk food items received with appropriate date received.
• Manages inventory and cycles out product if out of date.
• Communicates with manager for product needs.
• May assist with ordering new products.
