$750 Sign on Bonus (external candidates only)

What do I need as an RN with Messiah Lifeways?

• RN graduate of an approved school
• CPR certified unless contraindicated for health reasons
• Three years of nursing experience with a minimum of one year in gerontology preferred
• Makes clinical decisions based on departmental policies and procedures

What will I do as an RN with Messiah Lifeways?

• Helps orient new residents to the Enhanced Living neighborhood.
• Provides supervision and care to residents to maximize their capabilities, quality of life, and independence.
• Assists Enhanced Living residents with medications per physician's orders; following DHS guidelines and policies/procedures related to medication.
• Observe residents in daily activities and keeps the Enhanced Living Director of Nursing informed of unusual problems, and maintains resident charts
• Provides clinical leadership to Neighborhood Care Teams as needed and keeps team members informed of issues that require attention.
• Follows proper procedures and promotes safe work practices in order to maintain a safe working environment.
• Works cooperatively and productively with others, including residents, families, and other team members.
• Discretion and tact, patience, and compassion are required to perform effectively. Exhibits the organization's core values.
