What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Data Architect (USC due to federal Client) position at Meta Soft Inc?
The enterprise data architect will oversee translating analytic and user requirements into enterprise data models that can be used in the RAVEN data warehouse and data lake. An ideal candidate will communicate across functional teams to ensure best practices across the platform. In addition to enterprise data model development, the enterprise data architect will oversee rapid prototyping and solutioning to further the development of the data platform. Required Skills/Experience of the enterprise data architect:
Required Skills/Experience for Contract Personnel:
· Be a U.S. Citizen.
· Meet High Risk, Law Enforcement Sensitive background
· Possess a minimum of eight years of professional experience developing and testing software.
· Have the ability to work as a member of a cross-functional team in an often-high stress high tempo office environment.
· Possess a minimum of three years of experience as a Data Architect or Data Engineer in medium to large enterprise systems.
· Possess a minimum of three years of experience designing and implementing big data solutions in medium to large enterprise systems.
· Possess a minimum of two years of experience working with, designing, and optimizing database backed solutions
· Possess the ability to demonstrate current and at least intermediate skills in RDBMS and NoSQL data stores such as (but not limited to):
o Elasticsearch
o Cassandra
o Object data stores such as S3
· Possess a minimum of two years of experience working with both streaming and batch data processing tools such as (but not limited to):
o Apache Spark
o Apache NiFi
o Apache Kafka
Nice If You Have:
· Experience developing production applications using the following server-side computer language(s):
o Java – SpringBoot
· Experience with Docker and deployments to Kubernetes clusters
· Familiarity with modeling data in the RDF standard and the associated tooling to ensure RDF compliance
· Familiarity with modeling data in the OWL standard and the associated tooling to ensure OWL compliance
· Familiarity with Graph Databases technologies (Neo4j, JanusGraph, D-Graph, etc.)
· Experience as a Database Administrator
