WORK SCHEDULE:
During the following hours of operation:
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Saturday as needed 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Saturday as needed 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
JOB OVERVIEW:
Scrap metal yard located in Bradford, PA seeks an Equipment Operator/General Laborer to handle day to day tasks in the yard. These responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Material purchase entries, including weighing truck in/out, verifying accounts/prices
- Creating and maintaining all outbound documents
- Sorting various metals by grade and preparing outbound loads
- Move material using various forms of heavy equipment
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assist with yard projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail as well as an efficient, hardworking, and dependable attitude.
- General Computer Knowledge (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Ability to work with little or no supervision, are flexible and a team player
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Heavy Equipment Operation experience desired; will train right candidate
