General Accountabilities
- Tax Preparation and Review: Assist in the preparation and review of individual and business tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Tax Research: Conduct tax research and analysis to support tax planning and advisory services.
- Client Support: Provide exceptional support to clients by responding to inquiries, resolving tax-related issues, and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Compliance: Ensure all tax filings are completed in a timely manner and comply with federal, state, and local tax laws. Documentation: Maintain organized and detailed records of all tax-related documents and client information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior team members to deliver comprehensive tax services and contribute to team projects and initiatives. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Efficiency Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of tax preparation and advisory services.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of accounting principles and tax laws. Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly explain tax concepts and issues to clients and team members.
