Job summary
Metispire is seeking an experienced project management training specialist with a strong background in adult learning to provide comprehensive project management training to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and delivering engaging training programs tailored to adult learners.
Primary responsibilities
- Design project management training programs for adult learners.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars on-site or remotely.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training and implement improvements as needed.
- Stay current with the latest project management trends, tools, and best practices.
- Stay current with the latest adult learning trends, tools, and best practices.
- Other activities as assigned.
Essential skills
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Proficient in using virtual training platforms and tools.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in education, project management, or a related field is required.
Certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
- Adult education or training certification is highly desirable.
Experience
- At least ten years of project management experience.
- At least five years of experience delivering training to adults.
Job Type
- Contract – this position is project-based and contingent upon contract award. The trainer will be engaged for the training project, with the possibility of extension based on performance and client needs.
Location
- Mostly remote with some in-person meetings at our Chattanooga, Tennessee office. (home office must be in the state of Tennessee.)
- Domestic and international travel as needed.
