The Marketing Research Intern will facilitate a customer and market research project that will focus on a specific business opportunity. The Intern will lend support to market research analysis, data analysis and design.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collect data on service operators, competitors and market place and consolidate information into themes of customer desires and pain points.
- Reach-out to roughly 60-80 firms, from mid-size to enterprise (averaging 6-8 firms a day) to collect information and data points on what features of a new SaaS solution would interest them
- Analyze original and third-party market research data
- Create reports for the top management
- Draft questionnaire and revise in coordination with team members
- Preparation and follow-up of project meetings
- Creation and monitoring of online customer surveys
- Plan, conduct and analyzing surveys
Required Skills:
- Currently pursuing a BS/MS degree in Market Research, Marketing, Business Administration, Sales or related field
- Ability to work with a remote team
- High degree of self-motivation and positive problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Ability to efficiently multi-task, with proficient organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- High degree of customer empathy and general business acumen
- Excellent communicator
Preferred Experience:
- Independent work on personal projects of interest
- Self directed learning and a passion for technology
- Previous part-time, internship, Co-op or full time work experience
