Position Overview:
Seeking a dynamic Development Director to join our Land Development Department. The ideal candidate will spearhead and oversee land development activities within designated projects, ensuring adherence to business objectives and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all land development operations for assigned projects
- Conduct due diligence on prospective projects, including budget and schedule reviews
- Select and coordinate with land development contractors and suppliers
- Execute community development plans, overseeing infrastructure construction
- Create and maintain development budgets
- Interface with local government entities for permitting and regulatory compliance
- Direct a team of consultants during project construction phases
- Oversee preliminary and final platting of developments
- Manage builder relationships and ensure contract compliance
- Conduct on-site inspections and attend relevant meetings
- Uphold professional and ethical standards in all business dealings
- Travel as necessary
