Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to oversee operations in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care, leadership, and medical terminology.
Our client, recognized nationally for its excellence, requires a Director of Cardiovascular Services to manage and oversee the Cardiovascular Service line. The role encompasses leadership and operational oversight of the Cath Lab, Endoscopy, Vascular, and Cardiac Rehabilitation. This includes ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, maintaining adequate staffing levels, managing supplies and equipment, and ensuring efficient patient throughput. The Director will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the department budget. Additionally, the role involves continuous quality and performance improvement, promoting lifelong learning for staff, ensuring the completion of annual competencies, and maintaining personal growth and professional development in nursing leadership and required licensure. Effective communication with the CNO and Administrative Team is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee staff development and implement evidence-based clinical practices
- Manage personnel resources and productivity

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina (or compact state)
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a Cardiac Cath lab setting
- 5 years of training, education, and/or experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab RN
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire and ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
