Cell Phone Repair Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Repair Technician to join our team. As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing various electronic devices and equipment. This includes field service repairs, software troubleshooting, and hardware repairs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Duties:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers
- Perform repairs on electronic devices including screen replacements, battery replacements, component replacements, and soldering
- Install and configure operating systems such as Mac OS, Windows, iOS, and Android
- Provide technical support to customers in person or over the phone
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used
- Assist with retail sales of electronic devices and accessories
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to perform repairs

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of field service repairs for electronic devices
- Proficient in software troubleshooting for various operating systems
- Experience with soldering techniques for component-level repairs
- Familiarity with Mac OS, Windows, iOS, and Android operating systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers in a clear and concise manner
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate repairs and record keeping
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
