Company Introduction: Metro Communication Systems, Inc. is a service provider for multi-family communities throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. Metro began in the late 1990s and is headquartered in Southlake, TX. We perform fire alarm, fire sprinkler, fire extinguisher, backflow, gate, garage, access control, CCTV and intrusion alarm services.
Job Position Description: Metro is looking to hire an inside sales associate that will work in tandem with our Chief Revenue Officer. The role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Since Metro covers a wide range of services for multifamily communities, knowledge on these services isn’t required but it is recommended. Metro has 60 total employees with a majority being out in the field providing service every day, so we foster a collaborative office environment.
Physical Setting and Schedule: Metro is located in Southlake, TX. Our schedule is in office Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM with a one-hour lunch.
Responsibilities: Below are some job responsibilities the candidate will be in charge of.
- Generate new leads using information from different sources
- Qualify prospects and convert them into sales opportunities
- Close deals over the phone and through email with property managers
- Make outbound sales calls to potential customers
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers while providing excellent customer service
- Answer inquiries from customers regarding different bids needed
- Resolve customer issues and disputes, working closely with the customer service and accounting teams to address any issues
- Work with the CRO to achieve sales goals on a quarterly basis
- Collaborate with CFO and CRO on special projects

- High school diploma/GED
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to navigate several different software applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Effective in time management and prioritization
- Able to work in a collaborative team environment
