What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Director position at Metro EHS Pediatric Therapy?

The Clinic Director is responsible for end-to-end oversight of all clinical (OT/PT/ SLP/ ABA/ Mental Health, Nutrition, etc.) services within their assigned clinic(s), including productivity, revenue, billing, cost containment, scheduling efficiency, clinical staffing and supervision of all therapies provided, from a quality, effectiveness, efficiency, customer service, documentation, and training standpoint. The Clinic Director works closely with the Leadership Team, Regional Operations Manager, Managers, and Leads to be sure the center is efficient and the needs of the clients, their families, and staff are met.
This position is bonus eligible and based on productivity and team growth! We are looking to add leadership to a brand new clinic with a motivated individual!
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Current certification as a BCBA / OT/SLP or PT.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable form of insured transportation
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving and time management skills
- 3 years' experience leading/supervising behavioral programs and clinical staff
Experience/ Skills:
- Licensed in the State of MI to practice OT, PT, SLP, or ABA.
- 10 years of experience as a practicing clinician with 3 years of experience with managing people.
- Candidates should possess an understanding and teaching of clinical skills as well as customer service skills.
- Have demonstrated ability in the management of clinical personnel, clinical services and clinical planning.
- Knowledge of the Principles and Practices of OT/PT/SLP/ ABA, Nutrition and Mental Health Services, etc.
- Exhibit a passion for our services and client outcomes with a demonstrated excellence in interdisciplinary collaborative care.
- Experience with a variety of EMR systems
- Must be an accomplished multi-disciplinary team-leader and team-builder with hands-on style.
- Must have the ability to motivate fellow employees by fostering team spirit, an attitude of optimism, cooperation, and a commitment to the mission/ vision/ values of MetroEHS.
- Ability to present information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.

Job Duties:
- Promote an environment of and foster positivity, collaboration, best practices, and professionalism in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of MetroEHS in order to consistently deliver high quality therapy services throughout the clinic.
- Work closely with the Leadership Team in order to implement company policies & procedures.
- Work with Discipline Directors, Managers and Leads, HR/ Recruiting to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Review and Approve Clinicians’ schedules and oversee staffing needs in order to meet the clinical demand for treatment.
- Working with HR/Payroll and Managers to approve Timecards and PTO for all clinical staff (SLPs/OTs/PTs/ BCBAs/ Mental Health/ Nutrition, etc.)
- Work with Discipline Director, Managers and Leads to ensure staff are appropriately trained, onboarded, mentored and competent to perform their duties.
- Monitor and maintain safety and use of clinical equipment, ensure all staff are properly trained.
- Monitor clinic KPIs and collaborate frequently with the Leadership Team, Regional Operations Manager, Managers/ Leads, and all clinic staff for clinic improvement and quality efforts in order to ensure KPIs are achieved or exceeded.
- Delivery of the Managers’ Performance Evaluations.
- Assist Managers and Leads in staff evaluations.
- Assist with leadership development of Managers and Leads.
- Provide ongoing feedback and support to all clinic staff.
- Promote and demonstrate efforts to achieve and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and engagement, as well as staff satisfaction and engagement.
- Efficiently investigate, problem solve, and resolve or propose resolutions to client, employee, or clinic conflict, complaints, concerns, or safety issues.
- Monitor financial KPIs for clinic, by actively participating in budgeting and goal setting process for the clinic in partnership with the Leadership Team and Regional Operations Manager.
- Ensure staff and client compliance with MetroEHS policies and procedures (Attendance, Financial Care Policy, Health and Wellness, etc.).
- All other duties as assigned by Supervisor/ Leadership Team.
