We are currently recruiting for a Business Support Specialist to join our team who values our agency's focus and organizational excellence.

Responsibilities for Business Support Specialist :

• Serves as receptionist answering busy phone lines and greeting walk-in clients, citizens, landlords, tenants, etc.
• Provides excellent customer service to clients, staff and the public.
• Processes mail by preparing mail for pick up, delivering daily mail and receiving, opening, and routing incoming mail.
• Creates automated forms utilizing MS Word functions.
• Maintains digital filing system within the agency by filing correspondence reports and forms into file cabinets and / or computer files and maintaining appropriate computer and written document logs.

Assists with maintenance of central files.

• Maintain inventory of forms and letters used for files.
• Responsible for preparing recertification letters, and other forms and notices as requested.
• Supports Housing Choice Voucher program with general clerical support.
• Scans client files and other MWHS paperwork and files into appropriate folders on the server.
• Provides general clerical support to the MWHS program and executive staff.
• Orders office supplies and maintenance uniforms, maintains the office supply inventory.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required

The Candidate :

• HS diploma or equivalent required
• Two years of Administrative experience.
• A reliable team player with a passion for customer service.
• General computer experience including data entry, word processing, data base, and Internet.
• Ability to obtain Notary Public Certification and adhere to requirements.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.
• Background check is required
