Primary Patient Population:
- Acutely ill pediatric to adult patients
- Level 1 Trauma Center
Primary skills utilized/learned:
- Patient Assessments
- Patient Triage
- Trauma care
- IV insertion, blood draws, Foley catheter insertion Time management, critical thinking, delegating
Personnel Nurse Manager will work with :
RNs, LPNs, Paramedics, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Behavioral Observers (BO), ProvidersNumber of beds on unit:
- 93 beds (Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) included)
- 10 Trauma Bays 80k patient visits annually

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
- At least 5 years of experience as a registered nurse.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
- Nursing certification in specialty area or in nursing management/leadership (e.g., CNML, NE-BC).
- Current AHA certification(s) relevant to clinical practice area (as outlined in the RN Clinical Nurse job description). Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in nursing or other health-related field
Salary : $85,600 - $108,000
