Meyer Ace Hardware is a fourth-generation owned retail hardware business that prides itself on servicing our customers and the community in which we live. We are currently looking to hire someone to work as Power Equipment Sales Specialist at our Petoskey North Store location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcoming customers to Meyer Ace Hardware and determining their needs by asking questions
- Assemble, Prep, and Sell Power Equipment (Stihl, Husqvarna, Toro, and more)
- Assist with ordering and inventory management
- Maintain 100% Stihl U training status
- Helping Customers throughout the store
Requirements:
- Enjoy working with members of the community daily to help them with their needs
- Comfortable operating a computer
- Good phone/verbal communication skills
- Able to lift heavy items on a regular basis
- Able to multi-task
- Exceed customers’ expectations every time
- Ability to work weekends, opening and closing shifts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
