What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trim Specialist position at MFS Supply?
Position Summary:
Ensures all trim orders are fulfilled in adherence to production docket in timely and complete manner.
Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in fulfilling on-time trim orders to match to production to complete and order for shipping.
- Work with lead and team.
- Work hours as directed and scheduled.
- Communicated effectively.
- Be open to new processes, efficiencies, and standards.
- Other tasks as required.
- Complying with all uniform and appearance guidelines.
- Ensures compliance to quality, 6S, and OSHA programs; assures conformity to all company and customer.
Working Conditions/Environment:
Works primarily in a warehouse environment where the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, walk, reach, grasp and bend while moving about their workstation and facility. May be required to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. The employee may periodically be exposed to non-ambient temperatures, odors or dust. All required PPE must be worn at all times while in the warehouse environment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
Qualification Requirements:
- 3-5 years previous warehouse experience.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Computer Aptitude with Microsoft office 365, and NetSuite a plus.
