Responsibilities
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate key findings to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain Excel VBA macros to automate data processing tasks.
- Utilize Power BI to create interactive dashboards and visualizations.
- Collaborate with sales teams to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
- Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes based on historical sales data.
- Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from various departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Proven experience as a data analyst or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and preferably VBA.
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of sales processes and terminology and tools like “Walmart Luminate” and “Retail Link” is a plus.
