Sales Account Manager - Public Works Responsibilities
- Commit to and achieve a targeted level of sales and sales growth annually
- Assess vehicle and equipment needs of current and potential customers while developing relationships with key decision-makers and end users
- Quote vehicles and equipment, process orders, project manage to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Prospect and develop new accounts, qualify leads and create sales opportunities within our region
- Follow up on all sales leads in an efficient and timely manner
- Participate in trade shows and other sales events to promote vehicles and equipment sales
- Follow company procedures and guidelines throughout the sales process
Requirements for Sales Account Manager - Public Works
- 2 - 3 years of sales account manager experience
- Prior experience selling to municipalities, and state agencies highly preferred
- Prior experience responding to government bids, and quoting per government contracts highly preferred
- Must be computer literate, prior Configure-Price-Quote experience highly desirable
- Prior experience configuring government or commercial fleet medium and heavy-duty trucks preferred
- Technical, mechanical or engineering background is beneficial
