The Technical Training Instructor is responsible for delivering hands-on technical instruction in the theory and application of mobile electrical and hydraulic systems or other technologies to internal and external customers in accordance with established guidelines and developed content.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality in-person instruction in Hands-on Training Schools
- Teach technical training courses as scheduled
- Develop and renew course content
- Assist in preparing instruction materials
- Transport or coordinate logistics for transport of training equipment and materials
- Set up training equipment and materials at training site
- Other duties may be required
Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills and/or abilities required. The individual must meet the minimum requirements as listed in each Qualifications subsection.
Education:
- High School diploma with 5-7 years applicable experience or,
- Associates degree in a mechanical, technical, or related field and 4-6 years of applicable experience or,
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field such as engineering, engineering technology or industrial distribution is preferred with 2-3 years teaching experience.
Experience:
- At least three years delivering technical training, specifically electrical and fluid power or related technology
- Service or repair experience in electrical and/or fluid power mobile systems or a related field is preferred
Skills & Abilities:
Effective and efficient communication skills across all levels of an organization; must be able to interact appropriately both verbally and in writing Ability to deliver high-quality instruction; ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact Ability to work independently and in a team environment Intermediate proficiency in a Microsoft Office environment Ability to operate and troubleshoot technical instructional equipment such as laptops, training simulators, and test equipment Demonstrated ability to understand and effectively convey complex technical principles to others Demonstrated experience in technical curriculum development is preferred Develop knowledgeable training courses following standards sent by Technical Training Academy
Physical Demands:
From time to time, transporting training equipment to locations using a pickup truck and trailer is required. Pushing, pulling, bending, lifting, stretching and squatting are all required when setting up a training site for a course. While instructing, the incumbent is required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Work Environment:
While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to a general office environment, training venues, and customer sites including light and heavy industrial environments. Overnight travel is required on occasion. Work outside normal business hours is frequently required.

Salary : $56,700 - $71,800
