POSITION OVERVIEW
The Event Planner assistant is the “coordinator of things”, working to ensure our clients are provided the best customer service ever while helping them plan their dream event! Your job is to assist the Event specialist. This full-time position includes a varied schedule working 40-45 hours per week. The perfect applicant for this position is creative and loves the fast-paced environment of the events world! Ideally, we are looking for someone who can assist, learn the ropes, and possibly become an Event Specialist themselves.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
* Answer emails daily and take care of customer needs
* Answer daily calls on the company phone
* Send quotes for customers to review
* Design custom lounges & event decor
* Follow up with client quotes
* Collect payment
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
* Must be creative
* Must know how to read, write and speak English
* Must know how to read, write and speak Spanish
* Must be able to represent Mi Vintage professionally
* Must have organizational skills
* Must know how to use Gmail, Outlook, Microsoft Office
* Must be able to pass a drug and criminal background check
BONUS
* If applicant has Event Industry experience
* If applicant has worked in a creative atmosphere
* If applicant has Photoshop or Canva experience
PAY
Compensation for this position starts at $14/hr for the first 3-month training period. Once the training period is over, pay will be raised to $15-16/hr. Once candidate becomes an Event specialist, you can make $17 per hour.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Administrative Office: 1 year (Preferred)
- Event Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
- Office Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
- Event Rentals: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
- English (Required)
- Spanish (Required)
