Miami Regional University has immediate opening for full time Receptionist. this position will support management in an efficient and effective manner. Candidates are required to work in a fast-paced setting while independently managing multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines; must screen and prioritize communications and opportunities from external and internal sources and organize and maintain administrative processes.

The ideal candidates will be bilingual (English/Spanish), organized, and be able to support cross-functional coordination using excellent judgment . Occasional weekend and evening hours are required. All duties must be conducted in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Core Values of the University; serving as a positive professional role model for students, other faculty and staff in the areas of customer service, respect, communication, collaboration and excellence. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a sensitivity to the needs of students, faculty and staff from multicultural backgrounds and demonstrate commitment to our comprehensive learning institution.

The Receptionist greets visitors, answers phones and assists new applicants. Provides administrative support as needed. Be sensitive to the needs of others from multicultural backgrounds and demonstrate commitment to our Mission, Vision and Core Values. Utilize excellent communication and organizational skills. Work a flexible schedule, with evening shift, as needed. Has the ability to work in fast paced environment. Provides the first impression of the University.

Administrative Duties and Responsibilities:

· Ensures duties and responsibilities are aligned with Miami Regional University (MRU)

· Mission and Vision.

· Greets visitors and Students in a friendly and professional manner.

· Answers the phone in a friendly and professional manner.

· Responsible for being aware of what is going on in the campus and be the first alert for any security problems.

· Administers appropriate forms and applications to prospective Students in a friendly and professional manner.

· Receives deliveries and mail, sorts and distributes mail.

· Sends and receives facsimiles and prepares necessary reports as needed.

· Updates daily information in CampusVue, as needed.

· Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or GED with at least two (2) years experience in a professional Office environment, or demonstrable equivalent experience.

Position Schedule:

Forty hours per week but may vary daily and weekend hours may be required.

Classification:

Hourly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
