Job Description

  • Perform full take offs and pricing of project scope both manually and electronically
  • Assist in the creation of virtual design models of estimating
  • Accurately estimate projects from conceptual through construction document phases
  • Work with the team to develop comparable building analysis
  • Assist in bid descoping of multiple trades
  • Maintain and build strong client relations
  • Assist in maintaining historical cost database and as well as subcontractor database
  • Negotiate, award and write subcontracts.

The Successful Applicant

  • in Construction Engineering or related technical area
  • 1-3 years experience
  • Knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff (OST) or similar electronic takeoff program
  • Knowledge of WinEst or sijmilar electronic estimating software
  • Prior experience with Revit
  • Work from Barington office
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccine required upon hire
