Job Description
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for:
- Conduct research and develop new designs and products.
- Assess the need for training and talent development within the team.
- Lead teams in identifying and implementing equipment improvements.
- Define and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for the engineering department to ensure goals are met.
- Hire contractors and build effective teams.
- Ensure upper management supports the products.
- Provide clear and detailed instructions to engineering teams.
- Lead R&D projects that result in new designs, products, and processes.
- Review team's work to ensure technical accuracy.
- Coordinate with other managers and staff to align efforts.
- Plan and execute strategies to complete projects on schedule.
