Job Description
- Partner with the Director, Accounting Policy and Reporting, to produce timely and reliable financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, statutory/regulatory and management reporting requirements
- Continuously think of improving operational processes so that they achieve the intended outcomes more effectively and efficiently
- Execute on critical judgement-based activities and processes
- Support the Corporate Accounting team with technical accounting research
- Support various aspects of the financial audit, which will involve direct interaction with the external auditors as well as with other areas within the Bridgewater organization
- Support ad hoc requests as necessary
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting
- CPA with 3-5 years of experience, highly preferred experience at a Big 4 accounting firm
- Proficient technical accounting writing skills
- Advanced Excel skills
