Unit Supply Specialist

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Enlist as a "citizen-soldier" in the Michigan Army National Guard! Our main mission is to serve the state by protecting the lives and property of Michigan citizens. We provide relief during times of natural disasters such as winter storms, tornadoes, and forest fires. We also assist during emergencies similar to the Flint water crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Once enlisted, you will be assigned to an armory near your home and you will be able to select which job field you'd like to serve in. This is a part-time job; You will serve one weekend a month and two weeks in the summer. You will receive PAID job training and experience. There are hundreds of career options to choose from, many that will correspond to your civilian career or future aspirations. You will receive State AND Federal tuition assistance when attending college. You can also get your trade schools paid for and certifications for FREE! Also, some jobs are offering a $20,000 sign on bonus!

The unit supply specialist is primarily responsible for supervising or performing tasks involving the general upkeep and maintenance of all Army supplies and equipment.

Requirements:

• 17-35 years old
• Legal US citizen or valid Green Card holder
• Have a High School diploma or GED
• No serious medical conditions that would prevent you from serving
• Be physically fit to pass a fitness test
• No felonies
• No offensive tattoos (or on face, neck, or hands)
• No job experience required!
