Job Description:
Microchip Technology, Inc is looking for a Intern for a Material Compliance Engineering position to join our growing
team. This position requires an individual who has rudimentary understanding of environmental compliance
regulations with the ability to apply this experience evaluating current and new Microchip products.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or Environmental
Engineering;
Knowledge of global environmental compliance directives, regulations, and standards, including EU ROHS, WEEE,
REACH, WFD (SCIP), PROP 65, and conflict minerals
0 - 1 years of experience in Product Material Compliance
0 - 1 years of experience in Semiconductor Industry
Ability to work within all levels of organization to ensure compliance
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and multi-task
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
