We are looking for a program manager with strong events experience, sharp attention to detail, and a strategic focus. Working closely with your GP Communications counterparts, you will own and help lead several small to large-scale supplier engagement events annually – both in-person and virtually. You will serve as the event owner and program manager to build an event plan with strategies, key messages, well-defined tactics, and clear KPIs. You will manage event meetings and drive execution, pulling in cross-organization and cross-company resources to ensure success.
As an important member of the broader communications team, you will also contribute to our overall efforts to engage and communicate effectively with our global supply chain network.
Key Responsibilities
- Own program management of a range of supplier events, from regional engagements to our annual large-scale Supplier Day event.
- Lead end-to-end development of events, from strategic ideation to execution and reporting KPIs.
- Partner closely with peers and stakeholders to ensure flawless execution.
- Work closely with GP leadership to determine key events; drive inclusion and alignment throughout the ideation and execution process within the GP team as well as other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Help identify new event opportunities for GP participation; research and prepare rationale to pitch to leadership.
- Oversee event budgets and contractual obligations; manage payment to event suppliers.
- In partnership with Micron’s Global Communications and Marketing team, ensure the Micron brand is always represented appropriately at GP events.
- Drive process improvements and identify innovative new ways to reach and engage our supplier audiences.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in program management for events and event marketing
- Bachelors degree in communications, marketing or related field.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of using process to manage multiple projects in tandem. PM certification is a plus.
- Strong experience in event planning logistics and execution.
- Experience in translating business objectives into solutions/concepts aligned with event strategies.
- Deep understanding of event marketing strategy and operations, and validated experience executing best-in-class events.
- Successful track record of organizing and proving ROI through event marketing strategies and tactics.
- Experience with event management systems and platforms (i.e. Marketo, Salesforce).
- Strong collaboration skills to influence and forge strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- A strategic and innovative thinker able to identify new ways to engage our audience and up-level the event experience.
