As a Senior Manager in the Storage Business Unit at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for a progressive team for Product Line Management in the Client SSD Market and delivering business results.

In this leadership role , you will be responsible for the product lifecycle, including product Stage Gate management in the Product Execution phase.  Your breath of influence will include product planning and strategy as well as product marketing.  This includes partnering with stakeholders on the development of go-to-market plans and activities for specific SSD products or product swim lanes.

This leadership role will also require you to collaborate very closely with a Technical Product Manager working in the same product swim lane.  You will manage all issues and customer escalations related to your product portfolio during its development, Go to Market, Launch and Ramp stages.  You will also establish, enhance, and distinguish product placement within the competitive arena to maximize product revenue. You will interface with Sales team to gather market and customer needs, mange product requirements and changes, own quarterly product demand forecasting and deliver winning product plans to deliver leadership products, win designs and grow the business.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Maintaining clear and timely communication around the health, priorities, and trade-offs of the product line, across all levels of the Micron organization to drive best-in-class execution over the lifecycle of our products – from development to end-of-life

• Representing the "Voice of the Customer", market requirements and Sales needs internally in the Storage Business Unit as it relates to your respective product or swim lane of ownership

• Sales and Channel enablement, influencing and training, including support with key customer presentations and events

• Creating & maintaining market-focused GTM plans that clearly communicate product positioning, enablement plans, profitable ramps, and underlying priorities

• Drive product longer term revenue, margin and unit planning and management, including demand forecasting, product pricing models and pricing strategies

• Creating & maintaining customer-facing product collateral, messaging and marketing tools for Micron’s sales and channel teams

• Work with internal stakeholders to analyze market, competition as well as sales, and customer data to contribute to product plans and product strategies

• Leading key initiatives that focus on cross-group, specific customer or business challenges and contribute to developing processes within the Product Management team and partner organizations that are customer-centric and focused on best-in-class execution.

Skills, Experience & Education:

• Experience Managing Team Members , leading cross-functional teams and working across multiple locations

• Proven ability to grasp complex product, financial, technical, and marketing information to develop product plans and strategies

• Strong communication and presentation skills to customers as well as internal stakeholders including to senior leadership

• Demonstrated business acumen and critical thinking skills

• Technical depth in NAND Technology, Solid State Drives and the PC Eco-system

• Strong problem solving, analytical, project management and organization skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated broad customer experience and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
