What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Labor Floor Cleaning - Part Time Weekend position at Mid Michigan Industries?
This position will provide supplemental labor as needed in maintenance or production. The position is mainly floor cleaning for RiteHite. Task should be about 8 hours on weekend and may have some flexibility within the hours. Job could be split into two four hours shift if works better for hire. Once per quarter there will be an extra shift or two for deeper cleaning of floors. Position does require own transportation to work site. This position reports to the Program Manager in Clare.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Work related experience or skills in one or more of the following areas: maintenance, janitorial. Ability to read and follow written instructions and labels. This position requires Heavy Work as defined in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles: exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally and 25-50 pounds of force frequently.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in operation of power tools.
GENERAL LABOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate agency equipment in accordance with agency policy and state/federal laws.
- Maintain tools, equipment and supplies to assure the completion of tasks.
- Follow agency safety rules.
- Report any deficiencies in equipment, tools, or supplies to supervisor immediately.
- Serve as an advocate for persons receiving services by assuring recipients' rights and confidentiality is protected in accordance with agency policy and the Mental Health Code, including completion of incident reports and verbal reporting to manager and/or MMI Recipient Rights Advisor.
